Am I really that BIG?
I am seven months pregnant with my first baby and I feel HUGE! I honestly don't know how this baby is going to fit in my tummy for much longer and I still have two months to go. Nothing fits me anymore and nothing looks good on me either, even my maternity clothes are getting snug. I am sure all pregnant women go through this during their pregnancy (especially at seven months) But the last few weeks have been a little rough. I have had 4 people in the last 2 weeks ask me if I was having more then one baby. Am I really that BIG? One lady even commented after I told her that I was just having one baby that I was just huge. Are people for real? That is just as bad as asking a non pregnant women when she is due. I just have to keep reminding myself that May is right around the corner!
FOR THE RECORD: There is only one baby in there! LOL

I'm back!!
So I haven't bloged in a very long time. But I hope to get back into the swing of things. There are certain blogs that I read everyday and I think it is so much fun looking at them and keeping up on them. So, now I am bound and determined to keep up on mine! Here is just a little update on what has been gong on in our lives. I am now 30 weeks pregnant and today we started our two week doctor appointments, I can not believe how fast the time has flown by. In just 10 short weeks we will have our little baby Brady and we can't wait! (OK, so I can wait to go through the labor, but I can't wait to hold him and love him) Other then being pregnant, I have been working on my maternity album. I am so proud of myself for keeping up on it (unlike my blog). I hope to have the entire album completed by the time Brady arrives so I can start working on his album right away. My plan is to create an album for every year of his life. Birth to first birthday as one album, first birthday to second birthday as one album etc.... I also plan to do a family album as well. I am contemplating do a project life type of album for our family album. If you are not familiar with project life then you should check out beckyhiggins.com (creator of project life). It just makes documented your days, weeks and life much more manageable. we shall see, with a new born baby I may just have a case of wishful thinking. I will post some pics of my maternity album soon, but for now here are some pics of Brady at 20 weeks and 3 days.

Engagement pictures and a piece of cake!
I have also been busy making cakes. I have made cakes in the past but never for other people... other then family. A few of the girls that I work with asked me if I would make cakes for them for graduations and birthdays. Here are a few pictures of the ISU graduation cake that I made for my co-worker Diane. Her daughter Jana is graduating and I think that the cake turned out pretty good!

Pella Tulip Festival
There were so many people there and most of them were wearing wooden shoes. Andy and I went into a lot of the little shops around the square and almost all of them had wooden shoes for sale. (no, I didn't buy any) They were VERY heavy..... I don't see how anyone could walk in them. Not only were they wearing wooden shoes, they were all wearing Dutch outfits. I snapped a picture of a women in her Dutch attire :) (she was also walking around with a broom sweeping the streets, a lot of people were. It must be a dutch thing).
Pella had a ton of Junk stores (woo hoo for me, not so much for Andy) we just had to check out. Andy doesn't really enjoy looking through old junk like I do and he usually just follows me around. But occasionally I will spot him checking something out :) He always tells me that we should just live in a barn (I would LOVE that) and I always tell him the old saying "One man's junk is another man's treasure". Our house is FULL of treasures :)
You can not go to Pella and not get Dutch letters. They are SO yummy. People were standing in line at the bakery for hours to get them and they were buying them by the bag full.
I wanted to go up into the windmill but the line was way too long so I just settled for taking pictures. Because of the weather being unseasonably cold the tulips were not the best. A lot of them were welting but they were still pretty.
What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with my hubby!
